Scrimmage Requests
- Teams have the ability to use your solo ice practice up to "X" times per season.
- Teams can book up to 2 away scrimmages .
- Exceeding 2 away scrimmages requires prior Board approval.
The away team typically covers the referee fees, while the home team covers the ice time.
Referees
- All scrimmages within D10 REQUIRE referees to be present.
- Request a referee from the D10 Referee Scheduler, Tom Nergard, at shraref113@gmail.com 5 - 7 days prior to the scrimmage, if possible.
- If you are less than the 5-7 days, still fill out the request and see if there is a possibility to get refs scheduled.
Scrimmage Request Process

- Contact the CIHA Ice Scheduler to inform them that the practice has been converted into a scrimmage.
Referee Payment
- Contact the CIHA Assistant Treasurer to request a check for the referees.
- CIHA will not reimburse an individual for scrimmage fees that do not follow these guidelines unless there is prior approval from the board.
